About Richie and Jingru

Richie Bailey and Jingru Luo are not only life partners, but also an award-winning photography team whose work has been exhibited internationally. Dividing their time between New York and Las Vegas, they share a passion for visual storytelling, capturing powerful moments that leave lasting impressions.

Their travels have taken them across the globe in pursuit of extraordinary wildlife, landscapes, and cultures. In the Arctic, they have photographed polar bears, whales, and the northern lights; in the Antarctic, penguins, albatrosses, and seals; and throughout Africa, elephants, crocodiles, cheetahs, and lions. Their photography also celebrates the people and traditions of diverse regions around the world. In February 2022, as pandemic restrictions were beginning to ease, they were among the first American photographers to return to Wapusk National Park in Canada to photograph polar bear cubs alongside their mothers. In 2025, their work was exhibited at the Marlene Yu Museum in New York City, and in March 2026 they were honored by the Photographic Society of America with a featured “Distinctive Image” article in PSA Magazine.

Beyond photography, Richie and Jingru are passionate gardeners. The gardens they have cultivated over many years at their home in Hopewell Junction, New York reflect the same creativity, patience, and appreciation for nature that define their photography. Their internationally recognized work and distinctive artistic vision continue to set them apart in the world of photography, where every image tells a story and every bloom reflects the beauty of the natural world.
