Nature Through The Lens International Photography Exhibition

Now through October 30 hosted by the Rainforest Art Foundation at the Marlene Yu Museum in New York City: 36-58 37th Street, Long Island City, NY 11101, 1 pm to 5 pm. Curated by Jian Kang Jin and James Yu. Rainforest Art Foundation was founded in 2001 by Artist Marlene Tseng Yu to bring together nature inspired photographers from all over the world. It has currently expanded to Zurich and Shreveport.

Yong Chen was born in Shanghai, China in 1964. He received his Masters degree in Computer Science from Queens College, CUNY in 2001. He started to photograph digitally in 2005 and received several awards in photographic competitions. He is known as a nature and wildlife photographer in New York, and has served as vice chairman of the American Digital Photograph Association since 2010.

Debbie Dickinson began her career as a supermodel and is recognized as an icon in the international fashion world. Drawing on this unique foundation, she has evolved into an accomplished art photographer and curator, bringing a singular perspective to visual culture and contemporary art. Her photography explores nature, culture, and history through a refined lens shaped by decades of experience in global fashion and the arts. As an exhibiting artist, Dickinson creates images that merge personal vision with cultural commentary, offering layered narratives that resonate across audiences. In parallel with her artistic practice, she has curated and produced more than 150 exhibitions and publishing projects, championing innovative, inclusive, and accessible approaches to art presentation. Balancing her dual roles as artist and curator, Debbie Dickinson continues to inspire discovery, connection, and dialogue through the arts, both at DickinsonGallery.com and through traveling exhibitions.

Richard Bailey EPSA, AFIAP, is an international judge for PSA photography competitions. He was listed in the PSA Who's Who in Photography for the Nature category in both 2020 and 2022. In 2024, his images of polar bears taken in the frozen tundra of Canada were included in the PSA Historical Collection. Selected for the 2023 CEWE Photo Award, Richard also won a Silver Medal in the Photojournalism Photography category at the 2023 PSA Annual Gold Medal Competition.

Jingru Luo Chinese-American photographer, holds the MPSA2 title from the Photographic Society of America and the EFIAP/B title from the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique. Won over 300 gold awards in PSA international photography competitions. Currently serves as an international judge for PSA. Received the Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.
